Terms of Service
Last updated: October 6, 2026 — PaycheckHub
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of paycheckhub.com (the "Service") operated by PaycheckHub. By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. What We Provide
PaycheckHub offers free, server-side paycheck and tax estimation tools for all 50 US states, plus PDF and spreadsheet exports. The Service is provided free of charge and is supported by advertising.
2. Not Professional Advice
Not tax advice — for estimation only. Outputs from our calculators are estimates based on 2025 federal brackets, FICA rules, and state effective rates. Actual withholding and tax liability depend on your W-4 elections, pre-tax deductions, local taxes, and employer payroll practices. Always confirm with a licensed CPA, enrolled agent, or tax attorney before making financial or filing decisions.
3. Accounts
- You must provide a valid email address and keep your credentials secure.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse rate limits, attempt to breach security, or violate these Terms.
- You may delete your account at any time via the Contact page.
4. Acceptable Use
- Do not scrape, crawl, or automate requests at a rate that degrades the Service.
- Do not attempt to access other users' data or bypass authentication.
- Do not upload malicious code or use the Service for unlawful purposes.
- Do not remove or obscure any disclaimer, branding, or legal notice.
5. Intellectual Property
The PaycheckHub name, design, calculators, and content are owned by PaycheckHub and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may use calculation results for your own personal or business planning, but you may not republish the Service's content or source logic without permission.
6. Third-Party Services
The Service may display advertisements served by Google AdSense and link to external sites (IRS publications, state revenue departments). We are not responsible for third-party content, privacy practices, or availability.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that calculations are error-free, that the Service will be uninterrupted, or that data will always be accurate or up to date.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PaycheckHub and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed $100 USD.
9. Changes to the Service and Terms
We may modify or discontinue any part of the Service and may update these Terms at any time. We will post the revised Terms with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any dispute arising from the Service will be resolved in accordance with applicable US federal law and the laws of the state where the operator is domiciled.
